Loyalty Program: recap, NFT preview and use cases 

We are about to launch our Loyalty Program next Tuesday – November 29th. So, let’s go over the main underlying concepts/rules while we look at some practical use cases.

Recap

A month ago we announced our new Loyalty Program and Cohort System, aimed at bringing utility to licenses even before they are connected to any device. In case you have missed it, this is everything you need to know:

• Membership is available for all PlanetWatchers who own a license – either active or inactive. Upon opting in to join the Loyalty Program, they are entitled to receive both membership badge NFTs and membership discount NFTs, according to the cohort their licenses belong to.

• KYC is mandatory to be eligible for the Loyalty Program.

• Upon claiming a membership badge NFT, you can
  > Keep it for yourself and hold it in your wallet (it will be displayed in “MyCollectibles” – both on the Explorer and on the App)
  OR
  > Trade it

• Upon claiming a membership discount NFT (expire on 31st December 2024)*, you can
  > Keep it for yourself and redeem it on TEA Group’s e-commerce store to buy a bundle or a single device
  OR
  > Trade it
  *discounts depend on the type of license and the date when it was bought, and its value can be boosted by using 100 PW:Credit tokens during the redemption process

• Given that perks can be accumulated and sold, the limit of licenses you can hold is now 100 licenses per type (instead of 5 total).

• Device sales worldwide (country restrictions may apply) will be in charge of TEA Group. All products with cohort-related discounts will be available in the first week of December on TEA Group’s e-commerce, and shipping will start in the second week of December.

• We established a partnership with Headline to use their marketplace to let you trade your Loyalty Program NFTs as you please.

• The waiting list is over. From now on (subject to stock availability):
  > All customers previously on the waiting list will get all their benefits upheld while being now free to choose the time of purchase;
  > New customers will be able to directly purchase devices without being put on a waiting list.
  

We will release some tutorials on our support platform soon to help you navigate the processes associated with:
– claiming your NFTs;
– redeeming the discount NFTs into vouchers;
– and using Headline marketplace. 

Cohort badge NFTs preview

There are four cohorts:

• Prehistoric Age Cohort – Lifetime licenses 

• Old Age Cohort – Non-lifetime licenses bought until 1st January 2022 

• Middle Age Cohort – Licenses bought from 2nd January 2022 to 30th June 2022 

• New Age Cohort – Licenses bought from 1st July 2022 onwards 

Each cohort has a corresponding Tamagotchi-style character and a set of background elements that resemble the Age in which the license was bought (Prehistoric, Old, Middle and New).

Besides that, NFT variations are related to the type of license (color) and the license duration (number of leaves).

Type of license

Type 1 – Blue
Type 2 – Yellow
Type 3 – Pink
Type 4 – Grey

License duration

1 year license – One leaf
2 year license – Two leaves 
3 year license – Three leaves
Lifetime license – Ivy leaf

The cohort NFTs are a sort of ID to authenticate you and unlock special perks throughout time – discounts, merchandise, and additional advantages. 

Keep in mind that the status of the license – active or inactive – also plays a role in determining the set of benefits awarded.

Use cases

For the time being, we have revealed the cohort perks for Type 1 and Type 2 Old and Middle Age inactive licenses. We plan to announce the cohort perks for Type 3 and Type 4 Old and Middle Age inactive licenses in the upcoming weeks.

Prehistoric Age and New Age, as well as active licenses, will be covered later in the next phase of the Loyalty Program.

Products available 

– Type 1 bundle: Airqino + IN5 (New Type 4 device) + merchandise

– Type 1 Airqino + merchandise

– Type 2 bundle: Turtle (New Type 2 device) + merchandise

Initially, the device will only be available to Old and Middle Age cohort members

– Type 4 IN5

Based on the perks for Type 1 and Type 2 inactive licenses belonging to the Old Age and Middle Age cohorts listed in our blog post introducing the Loyalty Program, we have put together 8 possible scenarios in which you could find yourself – please note that the license duration doesn’t have influence on the perks. 

For each one, we explain how to leverage the Loyalty Program based on specific needs/wants. Read below.

Type 1 bundle: Airqino + IN5 (New Type 4 device) + merchandise

Example 1

“I own a Type 1 license in the 2021 waiting list and I want to buy the Type 1 bundle: Airqino + IN5 (New Type 4 device) + merchandise”

By checking your MyLicenses section on the Explorer, you will see that your license belongs to the Old Age cohort. 

Steps you should follow to claim your discount for the Type 1 bundle:

1. Go to MyLicenses, select your license and subscribe to the Loyalty Program. You will be automatically entitled to get:
   – Old Age cohort NFT matching your license type and duration
   – 100 PW:Credit tokens
   (directly transferred to your wallet)

2. Then, you can choose between 2 discount NFT options – Type 1 bundle discount NFT OR Airqino + merchandise & IN5 as separate discount NFTs. In this case, choose option 1 in order to receive the discount NFT for the Type 1 bundle: Airqino + IN5 + merchandise.

3. Go to MyCollectibles and click on the Type 1 bundle discount NFT. Before redeeming it, select the platform you wish to apply the voucher in (TEA Group Europe or TEA Group rest of the world) and add the 100 free PW:Credits to increase the value of your discount.

4. Go to MyVouchers and copy the discount code from your discount NFT. 

5. Log in to TEA’s e-commerce (Europe or rest of the world)* and add the product Type 1 bundle to your cart.
   *you will have to create an account if you do not have one already

6. Insert your discount code and proceed to checkout. Your final price will be 1354€ + VAT or 1628$:
   Type 1 waiting list 2021 price – 1350€ / 1599$
   +
   Brand new Type 4 device price – 99€ (instead of 399€) / 129$ (instead of 429$)
   –
   100 PW:Credits additional discount – 95€ / 100$

Example 2

“I own a Type 1 license in the 2022 waiting list and I want to buy the Type 1 bundle: Airqino + IN5 (New Type 4 device) + merchandise”

Steps you should follow to claim your discount for the Type 1 bundle:

1. Go to MyLicenses, select your license and subscribe to the Loyalty Program. You will be automatically entitled to get:
   – Middle Age cohort NFT matching your license type and duration
   – 100 PW:Credit tokens
   (directly transferred to your wallet)

2. Then, you can choose between 2 discount NFT options – Type 1 bundle discount NFT OR Airqino + merchandise & IN5 as separate discount NFTs. In this case, choose option 1 in order to receive the discount NFT for the Type 1 bundle: Airqino + IN5 + merchandise.

3. Go to MyCollectibles and click on the Type 1 bundle discount NFT. Before redeeming it, select the platform you wish to apply the voucher in (TEA Group Europe or TEA Group rest of the world) and add the 100 free PW:Credits to increase the value of your discount.

Airqino + merchandise

Example 3

“I own a Type 1 license in the 2021 waiting list and I want to buy the Airqino + merchandise (but I am not sure if I want to buy the IN5)”

By checking your MyLicenses section on the Explorer, you will see that your license belongs to the Old Age cohort. 

Steps you should follow to claim your discount for the Airqino + merchandise:

1. Go to MyLicenses, select your license and subscribe to the Loyalty Program. You will be automatically entitled to get:
   – Old Age cohort NFT matching your license type and duration
   – 100 PW:Credit tokens
   (directly transferred to your wallet)

2. Then, you can choose between 2 discount NFT options – Type 1 bundle discount NFT OR Airqino + merchandise & IN5 as separate discount NFTs. In this case, choose option 2 in order to receive 2 different discounts NFTs:
   – Airqino + merchandise discount NFT
   – IN5 discount NFT

3. Go to MyCollectibles and click on the Airqino + merchandise discount NFT. Before redeeming it, select the platform you wish to apply the voucher in (TEA Group Europe or TEA Group rest of the world) and add the 100 free PW:Credits to increase the value of your discount.

4. Go to MyVouchers and copy the discount code from your Airqino + merchandise discount NFT. 

5. Log in to TEA’s e-commerce (Europe or rest of the world)* and add the product Airqino + merchandise to your cart.
   *you will have to create an account if you do not have one already

6. Insert your discount code and proceed to checkout. Your final price will be 1255€ + VAT or 1499$:
   Type 1 waiting list 2021 price – 1350€ / 1599$

   100 PW:Credits additional discount – 95€ / 100$

7. If you decide you do not want the IN5, go to our marketplace on Headline where you will be able to sell your IN5 discount NFT (worth 150€ or 145$) at a price of your choosing in Planets.
   However, consider that if you end up buying the IN5, option 1 would have been more beneficial because the discount you get is higher (check previous section – example 1).

Example 4

“I own a Type 1 license in the 2022 waiting list and I want to buy the Airqino + merchandise (but I am not sure if I want to buy the IN5)”

Steps you should follow to claim your discount for the Airqino + merchandise:

1. Go to MyLicenses, select your license and subscribe to the Loyalty Program. You will be automatically entitled to get:

   – 100 PW:Credit tokens
   (directly transferred to your wallet)

2. Then, you can choose between 2 discount NFT options – Type 1 bundle discount NFT OR Airqino + merchandise & IN5 as separate discount NFTs. In this case, choose option 2 in order to receive 2 different discounts NFTs:

   – IN5 discount NFT

Steps you should follow to claim your discount for the IN5:

1. Go to MyLicenses, select your license and subscribe to the Loyalty Program. You will be automatically entitled to get:
   – Middle Age cohort NFT matching your license type and duration
   – 100 PW:Credit tokens
   (directly transferred to your wallet)

2. Then, you can choose between 2 discount NFT options – Type 1 bundle discount NFT OR Airqino + merchandise & IN5 as separate discount NFTs. In this case, choose option 2 in order to receive 2 different discounts NFTs:

   – IN5 discount NFT

Type 2 bundle: Turtle (New Type 2 device) + merchandise

“I own a Type 2 license in the 2021 waiting list OR 2022 waiting list and I want to buy the Type 2 bundle: Turtle (New Type 2 device) + merchandise”

Steps you should follow to claim your discount for the Type 2 bundle:

1. Go to MyLicenses, select your license and subscribe to the Loyalty Program. You will be automatically entitled to get:
   – Respectively, the Old OR Middle Age cohort NFT matching your license type and duration
   – Type 2 bundle: Turtle + merchandise discount NFT
   (directly transferred to your wallet)

2. Go to MyCollectibles and click on the Type 2 bundle: Turtle + merchandise discount NFT. Before redeeming it, select the platform you wish to apply the voucher in (TEA Group Europe or TEA Group rest of the world).

*During the redemption process, in case you have 100 PW:Credit tokens, you can fuse them with your membership discount to increase its value.

3. Go to MyVouchers and copy the discount code from your discount NFT. 

4. Log in to TEA’s e-commerce (Europe or rest of the world)* and add the product Type 2 bundle to your cart.
   *you will have to create an account if you do not have one already

5. Insert your discount code and proceed to the checkout. Your final price will be 394€ + VAT or 429$.
   Brand new Type 2 device price – 394€ (instead of 499€) / 429$ (instead of 525$)

Example 8

“I own a Type 2 license in the 2021 waiting list OR 2022 waiting list and I don’t want to buy the Type 2 bundle: Turtle (New Type 2 device) + merchandise”

By checking your MyLicenses section on the Explorer, you will see that your license belongs, respectively, to the Old Age cohort OR Middle Age cohort. 

Steps you should follow to claim your discount for the Type 2 bundle:

1. Go to MyLicenses, select your license and subscribe to the Loyalty Program. You will be automatically entitled to get:
   – Respectively, the Old OR Middle Age cohort NFT matching your license type and duration
   – Type 2 bundle: Turtle + merchandise discount NFT

2. Go to our marketplace on Headline where you will be able to sell your Type 2 bundle discount NFT (worth 105€ or 96$) at a price of your choosing in Planets.
