This license enables connecting a Type 4 device to the PlanetWatch network and receiving Planet rewards in return for data streams.

Description

All licenses are non-transferable, i.e. once you link it to a specific sensor, it cannot be used later on for a different sensor.

Each license’s runtime starts counting when it is first associated to a sensor.

Only approved sensors must be linked to an active PlanetWatch license in order to connect them to our network and receive rewards.

The use of licenses is regulated by our license agreement and our voucher policy.

      Hi, we don’t sell sensors, only the licenses, so we don’t send a tracking number because it’s a digital license.

    I bought the three year license and i hooked it up to my atmo tube pro, no problem. I have been receiving planet tokens since the very next day. The only reason i gave 4 stars over 5 was because there really is not much of a confirmation on line for the license. i just got an email saying my purchase went through and then i had to wait a day to see if everything was working. It was confusing for me to link the algo wallet to the planet watch app but, i figured it out and now its the coolest thing ever. I would like to get more sensors in the future and try the other licenses. very exciting for me.

    I can’t get my planets withdrawn from Bitfinex for some reason, therefore I can not buy the license, I have wasted my money buying the sensor but I can not buy the license because they only want PLANETS and not bank card.

      – It’s good for the adoption of the Algorand blockchain, thus of the Planets token;
      The CON is:
      – Many people don’t understand this payment method, so this could slow down adoption.

      Our perception, is that all in all, it is better to insist on PLANETS only payments on planetwatch.io, so for the time being we aren’t going to change this.”

    The only way to purchase a license is by setting up a Bitfinex account and using Planets. GOOD LUCK with that!! I understand Crypto but insisting this be the only way for your customers is unfair. You are mistreating the very people who are trying to support you with this lack of support yourself. There will be many of us who can never become planetwatchers because your ridiculous way of obtaining a license destroys our chance.
    Here’s an idea Planet Watch;
    If you refuse to let us purchase a license any other way then give the people who have already spent good money first buying an Atmotube a license upfront which we then pay off with the planets we earn by using it?
    In conclusion, despite multiple emails you insist I have no choice but to accept your only method of payment, which is inconvenient, inefficient, unfair and ultimately much more costly obtaining a license this way.

    I’m a US citizen and although you can buy planets thru Bitfix, this exchange is not allowed for US customers! Algorand doesn’t have a DEX yet either. I support paying for the license with the native token, however, one of your potentially largest customer bases can not access any planets to buy as you can only get them thru Bitfix. When will it be on a US exchange? It doesn’t need to be coinbase, just any exchange a US citizen can access would be nice. Until then, no US citizen would ever buy a sensor as it’s useless without a license – regardless of how much we believe in your mission.
