Look after the air you breathe, protect your people and receive rewards
Air pollution kills 9 million people every year. Currently, we have too few air quality sensors on the ground, meaning a lot of local pollution hotspots are not detected. By deploying one or more sensors, you will help us fight air pollution while earning rewards.

Purchase a PlanetWatch license corresponding to your sensor type.
Follow our instructions to activate your license and connect your sensor.
Read the White Paper to learn more abouthow our network works, the rewards, and the overall scope of the project. This is an important step before purchasing a sensor or a license.
PlanetWatch-compliant sensors serve various purposes: the static ones for outdoor and indoor air quality monitoring and the portable ones that can follow you around. Choose the one that best suits your needs.
Licenses are used to connect the sensors to our network. There is one license for each type of sensor - make sure you choose the correct type when purchasing yours.
PlanetWatchers receive rewards by sending air quality data through their sensors to the PlanetWatch network. There are two different types of rewards.
Depending on the type of sensor you have and the number of streams you send to the PlanetWatch network per day, you will receive a certain amount of Planet tokens.
If the data of a pixel where you deployed a sensor is sold to a public or private organization through our API, you will receive a portion of the profit.
